Test Thursday
Today in class, we took a few more slides worth of notes. We talked about a direct democracy which is a government ruled by only the people/community. America is a democracy but not a direct democracy. We don't entirely choose our leaders, rather the other people have a say also. The ancient greeks picked who they wanted. It was almost like a convention in which the people got up in front of everyone and gave out their ideas and the people voiced their opinions. You didn't have to agree with everything, you could also disagree and voice the opposite opinion. Then the government became more harsh when the persons brother was murdered. He tried to find who murdered him and when they found even someone a little suspicious he killed them and their family.
